18th July 2007 Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: Session time = 3-4pm Surf / Sea State: HT@3pm Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: WTW sunshine!!! :) Max Speed: Distance Covered: Rubbish tides meant I wasn't too enthusiastic about a sail today but 20-25mph, scorchio and wall-to-wall sunshine couldn't be ignored. 5.8 well powered but conditions just after high tide were predicably choplumpcrap dire. Stuck it out for an hour until a harness line broke and the wind dropped a notch, and spent the rest of the afternoon lazing on the beach in the sun which was far more enjoyable. The only achievement of note today was completing my annual challenge of at least one UK session per year in boardies and rashie! :) |
